Book I:
Rise of the TEMPLE

Vy believes every problem can be solved.
Finding Cana should have been no exception.
The granddaughter of Vy’s master, the Temple Queen, Cana has been part of Vy’s life for as long as she can remember—the closest thing she has to a sister, even if they have spent much of that time as rivals.
Now newly appointed as a Blessing Master of the Moon Temple, Vy has taken on a life of service. So when the Temple Queen sends her to retrieve Cana from the neighboring Sun Kingdom, Vy leaves home for the first time, determined to bring her back.
Instead, she finds herself drawn into a mystery that has haunted the kingdom for three centuries.
Within the Sun giants’ mountain castle lies Emerald Wing, an abandoned residence infested with undead. Skeletons, wraiths, and ghouls roam its halls, yet no one has discovered why they remain—or what keeps drawing them back.
As Vy searches for Cana, she uncovers buried histories and secrets that challenge everything she thought she knew. Along the way, she finds help from unlikely allies—but in a kingdom filled with secrets, it is not always clear who can be trusted, or what their motives might be.
The deeper Vy ventures into the mystery of Emerald Wing, the closer she comes to a truth she has never had to face:
Some problems cannot be solved without a cost.

About the Author

Josephine
Le Tulle

Josephine Le Tulle has been writing stories since her teenage years, beginning with fanfiction and a long-held dream of becoming a novelist. Like many people, she took what seemed like the responsible path instead—college, a “mad scientist” education in biology and chemistry, and the normal job thing. Years later, a spiritual awakening made her realize just how far she had wandered from the life she actually wanted to create.
Her love of fantasy was shaped by Sailor Moon and other manga/anime, World of Warcraft, Dungeons & Dragons, Greek mythology, and a lifelong fascination with stories built around deep lore and expansive worlds. When she finally decided to create a world of her own, she approached it with equal parts imagination and mad-scientist enthusiasm. Notecards, timelines, diagrams, and Excel spreadsheets eventually covered the walls of her apartment as the world of Of Gods and Phoenixes took shape.
Rise of the Temple is the first part of a much larger story—and a labor of love years in the making.
Readers who want to explore beyond the novels can find additional world lore, artwork, behind-the-scenes material on Josephine’s YouTube channel and through the newsletter and Facebook.
